We pulled put of FPC around 9:30 this morning on our way to LaGuardia and then NOLA and the adventure that God has I store for us this week as we a help to Restore Hope in New Orleans.
After arriving at Louis Armstrong International Airport we picked up our rental vans and made our way to the Brent House Hotel - our home away from home for the week. We only had time to drop off our luggage since we were due at St. Charles Avenue Presbyterian Church for our orientation with he Rhino program director Avery Strada. It's a little dis-orienting to not be greeted by Kate's smile, but we felt the same way when it was Kate filling Sarah's shoes. So we are looking forward to getting to know and love Avery.
After our orientation we went to dinner and then back to the hotel.
The work and real fun begins in the morning - early in the morning. And so, goodnight. Please keep us in your prayers.
